You ask AI a question. You get an answer. Then you copy it, paste it, and do the real work yourself. After a month, you still have no extra time. That's what happens when you use AI like Google.
Ronnie Nijmeh spent 18 years running a software company before he figured out a better way. At a Canada Growth Network session, he showed how one person can run a solo business like a studio, without being a coder.
Ronnie Nijmeh, founder of The Solo Creators, spent 18 years running a software company that served over 650,000 customers. He sold it, and now he runs a solo business. He explains why he works in Claude Code instead of the chat tab, even though he is not a coder. Then he runs one prompt that turns a single video into a playbook, website audit, slide deck, social posts, and promo videos in about 20 minutes.

Solo business owners can use AI as a working team instead of a chat box. Ronnie Nijmeh, founder of The Solo Creators, shows how Claude Code can turn one source video into a playbook, slides, social posts, and promo videos in about 20 minutes, even for people who cannot code.
Who this is for: SMB owners and solopreneurs who want to save time on content and repetitive work.
Key Lessons
1. Use the tab where the work gets done.
Ronnie says to flip from the chat tab to the Claude Code or Codex tab, even if you are not a coder. It can open your files and folders, browse web pages, and deliver finished work. Everything stays on your machine. For example, his content run read a video, built slides with the brand logo, and wrote social posts without him touching a file.
2. Stop chatting. Start managing.
Hand the AI a goal, not a question. It can start agents that split up the work and check each other's results. Think of a team that keeps working while you are away. Ronnie calls the shift "stop thinking of it as Google and start thinking of it as employees."
3. Skills make the work repeatable.
A skill is a written set of instructions the AI follows the same way each time. Ronnie built a blog skill that has posted 83 articles since the end of June, and he says it lifted his Google impressions and clicks in a short time. He builds new skills when members ask for them. A website audit tool started as a request from Percy Barr.
Practical Steps
- Pick one weekly task and write it as a goal. Say what "done" looks like. Do not ask a question. Hand it to Claude Code or Codex.
- Build your second brain. Write down your brand, voice, and style. Feed it your presentations, videos, and emails so the output sounds like you.
- Run a proven skill on content you already have. Start with one video or one blog post and see what comes back.

FAQ
Do I need to know how to code to use Claude Code?
No. Ronnie says he is not a coder. His client William is 74, cannot code, and got his own website live by chatting with Claude.
What is the difference between the chat tab and the Claude Code tab?
The chat tab answers questions. The Claude Code tab can open your files, browse web pages, and deliver finished work, and it keeps everything on your machine.
